Dimension EDI is proud to be a partner in the IQML project which is sponsored by the European Commission Research and Development 5th Framework R&D Programme. The goal of IQML is to improve the accuracy and timeliness of statistical data collection from enterprises and individuals whilst at the same time reducing the burden of statistical reporting on enterprises. IQML will use the advanced technology of XML and the ebXML to achieve this. The role of Dimension EDI is to develop a web based metadata registry and repository to support the development of questionnaires and the interaction with survey systems.

Dimension EDI is a partner in the European Commission COSMOS project (Cluster of Systems of Metadata for Official Statistics). We have build a metadata registry using the ebXML registry implementation from Sourceforge http://sourceforge.net/projects/ebxmlrr/ This registry is used to store, search, and retrieve metadata concerning statistical data sets, surveys, and questionnaires.
